Zoo

I didn't post these the other day! Keith wanted to go to the zoo on Father's Day, so to the zoo we went. 

Ty insisted on wearing his Superman shirt, with the cape...

I didn't take a ton of pictures...and most of the animals were sleeping. Ty was OBSESSED with seeing the lions before we went...when we got there, he was TERRIFIED, wouldn't go near the fence, and the lion was snoozing away...

The gorilla's were snoozing...but the little guy came over and woke up his momma (who glared at me)...

Lexi's favorite part was the Aussie Aviary...where the birds were a little crazy and landing on us...

Olivia got completely freaked out right after I took this, and ended up in tears, lol, because another bird landed on her and was fighting a little with this one...

It was a GREAT day...the weather cooperated (it rained when we got home)...and everyone had smiles on their faces.

Pool

First official day in the pool for the kids.  Not super hot out, and the water was only 72 degrees, but it didn't matter, they were in it!

Poor Lexi...forgot to tell her momma it was field day, and spent the entire day OUTSIDE (without sunscreen)....came home from school soooo sunburned....

Ty only hung out on the deck with me (he's the smart one since it was NOT hot out)...

Hoping it gets warm out so we can enjoy the pool this summer!

Father's Day

Happy Fathers Day to the best dad my kids could ever dream of having.  So full of love, and patience.....and really, just the best dad.

Lexi

My Lexi girl....its been awhile since I took her pictures, and she knows taking pictures can be therapeutic for me, so she asked me to take some pictures of her. I love my girl...

Bella

Bella had her very last day of pre-k today. I can't believe she's going to kindergarten in the Fall. 

 I'm so proud of my graduate...she's learned so much this year...

One week

Its been one week.  One week ago I was in the hospital waiting to give birth to Jaxon.  One week ago that Jaxon was under my heart......now he is forever in my heart.

I am trying to not let the grief consume me.    I can't talk about it....hugs make me cry....I have my good moments, my bad moments....

These guys right here....they need me, and they make me smile everyday, and I have to focus on that...

Thank you for being there....for the prayers, for the love, for understanding that I need time, need space to heal....and thank you for remembering Jaxon.

Graduation

Thank you so much for all the love, the prayers, the strength being sent. Tonight was my first time leaving the house, and though I had a mini panic attack, I made it through it to watch my sweet girls graduation. My Bella graduated from pre-k tonight...I haven't taken her pictures yet, but here are some videos from her graduation (excuse the shakiness...Ty was up and down from my lap)...oh, and Bella tends to look a little angry when she sings loud....
