Lexi's Year of Being 13

In July when Lexi was 12, she turned 13 (and spent the day with one of her best friends, Victor)!!

And in July when Lexi was 13, she hung out at Canobie in the rain with friends...

...swam at the lake...

...had some fun on a go kart...

....played chicken in the pool...

...and looked cool after a day at the beach!

In August when Lexi was 13, she vacationed at Santa's Village with her family...

...got glasses...

...spent alot of time in the pool...

...AND at the beach...

...got her eyes dilated...

...went on the jet ski with Uncle Shaun...

...and had her first day of 8th grade!!

In September when Lexi was 13, she looked sweet hanging out...

...and giggled with her little brother!

In October when Lexi was 13, she went to the circus...

...cuddled with Zoe...

...took pictures in the leaves...

...carved pumpkins...

...and hung out with her brother and sisters!

In November when Lexi was 13, she had to have her picture taken for her art class...

...and celebrated Thanksgiving!

In December when Lexi was 13, she cozied Lucy in the cold...

...went to a party at Nana's house...

....and took 'last day of the year' pictures with her siblings!!

In January when Lexi was 13, she cozied with Lucy in bed...

..went to Disney on Ice...

...dealt with Joey's obsession to be ON her while she's on the computer...

...kept warm in the freeeeeeeeeeezing cold....

...and lost her great grandfather (Rest in peace, Pop).

In February when Lexi was 13, she celebrated her Uncle Dan's birthday...

...hung out with her cousin, Michael....

...was an animal whisperer, lol...

...went rollerskating...

...and got a haircut!!

In March when Lexi was 13, she got festive on St. Patrick's Day...

...hung out with Michael for a weekend...

...and got her bottom braces off!

In April when Lexi was 13, she colored eggs for Easter...

...celebrated Easter with her family...

...went to the zoo...

...and played with Ty at Orange Leaf!

In May when Lexi was 13, she got some love from Lucy...

...got contacts...

....gave her momma some loving on Mother's Day...

...went to Disney....

...and had a BLAST on the rides there...

...and 'remembered' on Memorial Day!

In June when Lexi was 13, she got an award in her art class for her AMAZING artwork...

...had a visit from her old friend Kaylee, who moved 7 hours away...

....discovered her love of bike riding...

....spent Father's Day at the beach with daddy-o....

....graduated 8th grade with multiple awards (so proud!!!)....

....and started beach season!!

In July when Lexi was STILL 13, she took Lucy for a dip in the pool...

....went to the beach...

...and took some pictures for her momma!!

And today, on July 5th, my sweet Lexi girl turned 14!! She chose to go to the beach!! I was a little nervous, as the waves were CRAZY from the hurricane, but we picked up 3 of her friends, and off we went!!

And we started the year with Victor...and we will end it with him!! Victor is one of Lexi's very best friends (since 1st grade)....

Happy Birthday to my beautiful girl...she is so sweet, so full of love and compassion....so ridiculously talented and smart. She amazes me....and I can't wait to see what her year of being 14 holds!! Tomorrow we will celebrate her with family!!
