Pop

The world lost an amazing man today. The selfish part of me is not ready to live in a world without my Pop...the other part of me couldn't bear to watch him struggle any longer, and imagines the reunion between him and my grandmother, oh he missed her so much....and it helps to ease the pain. After a long night, though he was very comfortable, he took his last breath this morning, with all of us around him. 

I will love you forever, Pop...may you rest easy now, pain free, with the love of your life. You will forever be missed.
