Curious Creatures Party

Lexi's party was a HUGE success!! The forecast showed rain...but thankfully they were WRONG!! It was HOT, sunny, and PERFECT! We had the fabulous Corey come, from Curious Creatures, and he was so wonderful with the kids. He shared so much information about each of the creatures, and made it interesting for them...it was interactive, and the kids got to interact with all of the animals....it was a PERFECT party!!

We gave out 3ft long rubber snakes for party favors (with a frozen Hershey bar)...

Lexi was soooooo thrilled when they brought the Blue Tongue skink....it was one of her favorites...

Lexi shocked me by holding the tarantula...though she was a little weary of it...

The chinchilla was definitely a furry favorite...

Olivia fell in love...

Olivia, who is afraid of EVERYTHING, shocked me with this....

And then he chased the Alligator around our yard, which the kids all thought was fabulous...

And then Corey, put the Corn snake in the pool with the kids!!

...and it swam right up onto Jeanna...

...and then it swam right to Lexi, before it was time for him to leave....

...and in the pool the kids stayed, when Curious Creatures left! It was about a bazillion degrees out...

Cake time....Lexi loooooooved the cupcake snake I made!!

We had to drag the kids out of the pool for a little birthday singing and 'making a wish....
Pinata time! We couldn't find a snake one, so we went with beating the frog, lol!

Present time! Lexi got sooo many wonderful things, and was a VERY happy and thankful girl!

A visit from cousin shannon at the end of the party, made it perfect!

I have more pictures to go through, with the scorpion, and the flying squirrel(imagine that, lol)....but wanted to share Lexi's super fabulous day!!

The thing on the finger is an amazing shot and my son would LOVE a copy of the frog one! Looks like it was an awesome party!
