Disturbing

Ughhh....Lexi got off the bus this afternoon and ran to see what Lucy was barking at. We found a garter snake, that had captured a toad. We tried and tried to get the snake to let go of the toad, but it had its jaws clamped on it and wouldn't let go. Po' little toad. :( Lexi ran and grabbed my camera, and insisted I take the picture...she assured me that its nature (she is an avid animal planet watcher), and that its not something you see very often (thank GOD)...po' little guy.
